I was very excited after receiving a score of 96 pts. and 3 puffs for the 2007 Pinot Noir. It was an exceptional vintage. As the 2008 fleshes out after bottling, I see that the wine is great in its own right. The growing season was a mix of hot and cool spells . There were enough cool periods that the 2008 has an almost perfect structure. The PH is 3.56 which is exceptional and bodes well for long term aging. The warm spell in September gave just a hint of ripeness. The wine has a very clean, bright tone with an earthy concentration of dark fruit and cola that make it one of my better wines. I recommend that you start drinking my wines when they are four to five years old but are excellent early. I am sure you will agree once you try it. Make sure to open the wine at least one hour before drinking. For the first two years, if you don’t finish the bottle, drink the rest of it the next day and you will find it is still as good or better than the first day.
